Esercitazione emergenza Tunnel Karavakne

Il 14 maggio 2009, i servizi competenti di Slovenia e Austria effettueranno esercitazioni di emergenza nel tunnel Karavanke sul confine tra Austria e Slovenia. Durante le esercitazioni il tunnel sarà chiuso a tutto il traffico, con previsione di blocco dalle 19 e riapertura alle 4 del 15 maggio 2009

Exercise of rescue teams Karavanke 2009

On 14 May 2009, competent services in Slovenia and Austria will conduct exercise of rescue teams in the Karavanke tunnel – Karavanke 2009. During the exercise, the tunnel will be closed for all traffic, most likely from 07:00 pm to no longer than 04:00 am.

The tunnel might open before the stated hour, but it depends on the course of the exercise.

During the complete block, appropriate diversion for heavy goods vehicles, in particular for trailers and semi-trailers, will not be provided. Therefore, we recommend the drivers to avoid this area during the stated time.

For all vehicles travelling to Salzburg and further or in the opposite direction, which are expected to arrive to the Karavanke tunnel during 07:00 pm and 10:00 pm, it is recommended to use the Pyhrn corridor diversion – namely Salzburg-Voralpenkreutz-Graz-Maribor.
