On the A4 Venice-Trieste the condition in the direction of Venice could be critical during early hours of the morning. The intense flow of vehicles will exceed the capacity of the highway. The stretches most affected by the traffic flow will be those between Villesse and San Giorgio di Nogaro, San Dona di Piave and Latisana towards Venice and (with long queues at the toll barrier) . The most critical points such as the jucntion between the A4, the A23 and the A57 tangenziale di Mestre,at the toll barrier of Trieste Lisert and the toll station of Latisana, San Dona di Piave, San Stino Livenza and Portogruaro, will see the formation of long queues. At the entries and the exits slip road from the service areas, on the bridges and near the areas affected by construction road works (only on R17 link road Villesse Gorizia) will cause further disruption to the vehicle circulation.
On the A23 Palmanova Udine Sud high traffic in both direction. Traffic queues expected at the toll station of Udine Sud and in the nearby of the junction with the A4.
