How to solve problems with payment of toll
In case motorists are unable to pay the toll charge (in automatic or manual lanes), a non-payment report will be issued. If you are in an automatic lane you will be issued a 'transit statement at the self-service station', if you are in a manned lane you will be issued a 'non-payment' form. Both documents will state the number and the amount of the unpaid toll charge. Outstanding toll charges must be paid no later than 15 days after the date of the transit.
METHODS OF PAYMENT Outstanding toll charges shall be paid, without surcharges, no later than 15 days after the date of the transit. Failure to do so will result in the addition of the administrative charge of € 2.58 (art. 176, paragraph 11-bis, New Italian Highway Code).
Payment can be made:
- on-line in the Services area – Online payments section of this website www.autovie.it (click on the link to open the relevant page)
- at an Autovie Venete S.p.A. Customer Service Centre located at the exit stations of Trieste-Lisert, Palmanova and at the service area of Bazzera Nord on the A57;
- at one of the following toll station, only at manned lanes: Trieste-Lisert, Redipuglia, Villesse, Palmanova, Udine Sud, S. Giorgio di Nogaro, Latisana, Portogruaro, S. Stino di Livenza, Cessalto, S. Donà di Piave, Venezia Est;
- by postal payment slip – C.C.P. no. 283341 – in the name of Autovie Venete S.p.A., indicating the reason for payment, the vehicle registration number and the non-payment number found on the form or receipt;
- by bank transfer to the following bank account in the name of Autovie Venete S.p.A. c/o Banca Antonveneta S.p.A. - Gruppo Monte dei Paschi di Siena - sede di Trieste - Piazza della Borsa, 11/a:
• IBAN:IT 09 Z 05040 02230 0000026500X
• BIC: ANTBIT2PTST Bank transfer to Autovie Venete S.p.A., indicating as the reason for payment the vehicle registration number and the non-payment number found on the form or transit statement;
- In case the outstanding charge is not settled, a debt collection procedure shall be undertaken and all expenses shall be charged to the debtor (art. 373 of the New Highway Code Regulation).
