Noise barrier
The rapid increase of traffic congestion requires better infrastructures in order to provide high quality and good service, something Autovie Venete has done for more than ten years now.
A long time ago the Company implemented environmental control and noise checks along its entire network, with a survey of critical areas particularly affected by noise pollution as traffic levels rose. Daily and nightly noise pollution was measured and assessed in order to adopt noise dampening barriers to keep noise levels below the legal limit.
The survey of the areas most exposed to noise pollution on the Autovie Venete S.p.A network anticipated and then integrated subsequent legislation and the Company is now drawing up an Action Plan, based on the noise pollution levels recorded, that concerns over 100 areas adjacent to the motorway, and has also adopted additional noise mitigation measures.
